I had total knee replacement two months ago I am 70 years old and this was the best decision I have ever made. I'm already walking 3 miles a day and cycling like I when I was competing. I never had any pain except for muscle aches and never used the pain medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Almaguer and his staff.

Dr. Almaguer is an amazing surgeon-had a left knee replacement..went to physical therapy and they were amazed at my progress at each stage. Dr. Almaguer has a great bedside manor .. listens with respect to your concerns and then without rushing he advises you about each of your concerns until you feel comfortable with the decision you will make... He is truly a great doctor.

We have many Orthopedic doctors to choose from when we are faced with knee replacement. In my experience I chose correctly. Dr. Almaguer made sure that I had all the information that I needed going into the surgery. He answered my questions in language that I understood. Dr. Almaguer could compete with a great seamstress. The stitches he used to close the incision were so fine that I believe that soon the scar will not be seen.

He took the time to thoroughly explain the surgical procedure, addressing all of my concerns and answering every question I had. His patience and attentiveness made me feel heard and reassured throughout our discussions. Dr Almaguer is what you will wish a doctor to be. His bedside manner is both reassuring and comforting. He takes his time explaining everything. I never felt like he was rushing but rather always took the time to make sure I fully understand his explanation.
Nobody wants to have surgery but Dr Almaguer made it as pleasant as it can be. So highly recommend him
